As you know Matt gave her to me for my birthday while he was oversea. I would have been lost without having her to keep me company. Now his best friend Cassie, his dobi, is at the age that she will not be with us much longer. He loves my little Baily so much that we are thinking of bringing another one home from you. | Comments: | I would like to share our experience of our new Basset Hound pup. Even though this is our 3rd Basset Hound we had never purchased one on-line before. We were so nervous. Once we found Connie she made us feel very comfortable that this was not a puppy mill but a very qualified and caring breeder. She took us through the process on the phone how the puppy was to arrive via a puppy pet safe flight. We have not had a puppy in 13 years and we called her continuously with concerns and questions of raising a new puppy again. Each and every time, Connie was pleasant, knowledgeable and kind. After our initial vet appointment. He stated that the breeder took excellent care of our puppy. Our experience was excellent. Everything Connie stated to us was true. The puppy is in great condition and Connie is a VERY REPUTABLE and CARING person. I would highly recommend her. |

| Comments: | Hey, Daisy is doing great. She has been getting better everyday with her potty training. I brought her home for xmas and the whole family loved her. She is a very relaxed dog and just loves to sit by you and sleep. My mom was amazed at how well behaved she is already. She does well around kids and other dogs even though she sometimes can get a little jealous if she isnt getting the attention haha. When I took her to the vet they were very impressed with her and said her all around health and look and attitude of the dog was by far the best they have seen in at least 6 months. They were also impressed with how you guys let me come out and see your farm and see the living conditions and meet her parents because I guess there are alot of breeders that wont let you see their farm cause it will look bad. So they said if anyone they know of is looking for a basset puppy they would recommend bcyoung. Thank you for such a wonderful puppy and have a Happy New Year!!! Zach |

I actually visited the kennel twice and I have to say that Connie does a wonderful job keeping up with all the dogs and I couldn't get over how cleaned up all the dog areas were. This is her thing and these dogs are her babies. I would really recommend BC Young bassets. Your puppy will be loved and cared for very well. |

I can't wait to see her in person. I am a former basset owner myself and he was the best dog I have ever owned - Chester had a love affair with the world. His favorite people were the strangers he met for the first time and his gentility and sweetness extended to other dogs, cats, squirrels...the species was immaterial. To Chet everyone was a potential playmate. With respect to the Burbas,I can assure you Tallulah has found a wonderful home. They are super close 'brothers' and love each other more than anything in the world. Gus is healthy and super fit and athletic, not at all overweight. We just LOVE him! he his five now and a big moose as our neighbors like to say. He isn't over weight, we have him on very good food. He is just a big boned and muscular basset. He has the best tempermeant of any dog I have ever seen and we get compliments on him all the time. Everyone knows Otis, that is his name. We rescued a female basset that was abused a few years ago and they just love eacher other. She is alittle older than Otis. We can't say enough good things about our "midgie man" he is great! | Comments: | I just wanted to say that we were blessed to find your website. We have had Rufus for 3 years now and he is the best dog ever. Your description of basset hounds just fits him to a tee. He is well loved and very spoiled. My husband will ask me to get up and get him something when Rufus is laying on top of him so that he doesn't disturb him. Good try hubby but Rufus will just have to move even though I love him soooo much. Thanks for the wonderful dog! |

We have had 2 kids since then and he is a fantastic family dog. I recommend you to anyone thinking about getting a dog--in fact my parents have gotten 2 Cocker Spaniels from you that are their "babies!" Keep up the good work! |
